Mr Julian Hung Head of Research Pinguino Research

Julian Hung is Head of Research at Pinguino Research, a shipping market research firm in Singapore. He also teaches courses in shipping business at Singapore Maritime Academy. Julian started his shipping career as a management trainee at IMC shipping, a major bulk shipping company based in Singapore. He subsequently passed qualifying exams and was admitted as a member of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers in London. He has since had over 10 years experience handling panamax and handymax chartering for IMC and has had overseas posting in North America and Europe. Julian holds a BA from McGill University, Montreal and an MA from Carleton University, Ottawa, both in Economics.
