Ship Finance & Investment Workshop
Inside the Mind of a Maritime Financial Analyst
Surviving the shipping market downturn requires prudent cost and revenue management. As the single largest category of cost for a shipowner, capital costs require special attention and the decisions regarding ship finance are among the most important a shipowner will make.
This two-day intensive workshop will review the various sources of finance available to shipowners and the criteria they need to use to evaluate them. This will include various types of debt, equity and leasing arrangements.
Recognising that survival ultimately depends not only on a company’s repayment cycle but its corresponding earnings cycle, the implications of different types of freight structure are also examined. By bringing both cost and revenue perspectives together, a more integrated approach to ship investment is achieved. The highlight of the course will be the opportunity for participants to apply what they have learnt through a case study.
Workshop seats are limited due to small group size. Register early to avoid disappointment.
